Kitsunads ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

Account data: name, email address, and hashed password when you register
Brand profile: business name, industry, tone preferences, and social handles you enter in Settings
Social media credentials: OAuth tokens for platforms you connect (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) — stored encrypted and used only to post content on your behalf
Payment data: billing transactions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers
Generated content: content you create using the Service, stored to power your history and scheduling features

We also collect limited usage data automatically (page views, API call counts) to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the Service (generate content, schedule posts, process payments)
To maintain your credit balance and transaction history
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts, important service notices)
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
To improve the Service based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) to generate content — your prompts are sent to these APIs per their respective privacy policies
Stripe for payment processing
Social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) when posting content on your behalf
Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) under data processing agreements
Law enforcement when required by law

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated content and post history are stored to power the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@kitsunads.com.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and encrypted storage of OAuth tokens. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie solely to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@kitsunads.com.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
